Flim Fest 2009: Updates

What's Flim Fest?
For those who don't know, Flim Fest is an annual movie and arts festival hosted by Not A Tad Bad Flim Co. on the South Shore every August. We've had screenings every summer, one in 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, and even 2004. Movies get shown by a bunch of local movie makers- everyone you'd expect. Dana Cataldo, Max Pacheco, TJ O'brien, Ryan Murphy, Joe Botsch, Neil Cicierega, Ethan Taranto-Kent, Craig Shannon- all the big wigs.

Bands
This year's showing is going to be rockin' all sorts of socks off. Flim Fest 2009 will be a night to remember, elevating the festival even further than years before. We've got four awesome bands this summer, including Stalemate (probably my favorite live band other than E-Street, you need to see these guys play), Hello Ninja (returning from 2008s awesome set), Oilhead (who's front lady has been a Flim Fest regular since 2004), and Beat Surrender, some loud and melodic would-be rockers with an anglophilic twist of lemon.

The Basics:
When: August 21, From 4-Midnight
How Much: Undetermined. $3 a per person, $5 for two
Whenever you find it suitable would you kindly check out the amazing, avant garde, Web 3.0 compatible Flim Fest 2009 website.
